Happy 1 Year Anniversary!

I can not believe it has been one year since I started this blog with this innocent, dream-filled entry. It blows my mind to look at it now. I love how I was so set on this thing only costing only ten grand. That would've been nice.

Man, so much has changed in this one year. I can't even...begin to open the floodgates and go into it all. The only thing I can do is hope that the next year will bring some positive changes that justify this entire effort. I mean...that's all I can really say. What else is there to say?

So before the guy who leaves a thousand comments each blog has a heart attack, I'll drop the few bit of updates I've got. I haven't touched the film much over the past few weeks, but I intend to jump back in during my upcoming time off from work. There will be a trailer before the year ends. Maybe it'll be a Christmas present. Maybe it'll be a birthday present to me. You'll have to wait and see!

Over the past few days, my sound guy and I have recorded a few sound effects and voice overs that I need to edit into the movie (i.e. a fly being zipped, a gunshot, etc). Also, last weekend I recorded more for the mysterious skit I keep hinting at. Still not ready to divulge information on that one. Let's just say a trailer isn't the only goody that's coming around the corner.

That's it for now...sorry for the lack of updates lately. I promise to get back on this. In the meantime, please enjoy this "report" a younger Ralphy did a few years back for the New York City Santa Con!

Some Updates

Howdy, don't worry, I didn't hit any computer snags. I just haven't updated because there haven't been any major developments besides me doing some networking. I've been in touch with a lot of bands and telling a select few to send me over some music, so that's still going. And yes, I am still collecting music!

I've been in touch with an old school friend Daniel about creating the official "Warm Milk Productions" motion graphic to precede the film. Funny how that came about...I ran into him by chance the day we shot at the bar (which if you'll recall, wasn't the bar we were originally going to shoot at). Anyway, his company is Who is Derek Blonde Productions.

Like the pic above? Bob gave it to me when he came over last week. We shot a little footage for a short video that's going to compliment the film. More details on that another day.

And last, I thought I'd share part of an email I got from my dear friend Alex (who appears in the film as Ray). This is in regards to my last blog entry:

nice goofy guitar clip art, by the way. did you go all the way to google image search for that? I'll keep you in mind next time I'm printing fliers for a pta meeting. find me an apple and a ruler.

Thanks Alex. That's it for now gang...I do want to whip out a new Side Panels soon. It's just tough with the holidays being here...there is much to be done. Keep the support and comments going. I am 100% serious when I say that it's what motivates me the most. I appreciate you all.
