20 Minutes Gone Episode 27: Death

Here's a short, easily digestible episode for you all. One of my oldest and dearest friends Laura joins me in the studio along with her husband/my pal Chris - and also Steph returns as well! Here, we discuss our own mortality, and how we learned about the concept of death. Morbid! But fun!

My favorite recording time for this show is late at night, after a few drinks with the guest. It's great to record relaxed and lose - as I did here with my brothers Paul and Steven. In this late night session, I tell them the story about my phone call with Jermaine Jackson over a decade ago... and then the show takes a hard left turn to us all sharing grade school gym class stories. All of it is good stuff... enjoy!

Here's a really fun one. Ben, who I have dubbed a "professional collector", joins the show to discuss the psyche of collectors as well as some of his favorite possessions. We talk about Funko Pops, Godzilla, and all things Flash.

I love this episode but I have to confess that it's already a little outdated. Toward the end, I mention an item I've long been in search of... which I've acquired since this recording (with help from Ben!).
